The dazzling bright-blue plumage and sweet song of the Western bluebird (Sialia mexicana) is a wonder to encounter in the open wood- and parklands where they nest in old snags. Unfortunately, their population in southwestern BC has seen a sharp decline due to habitat loss, reduced food supply, and increased competition for nest sites from the non-native house sparrow and European starling.

Greeting cards are blank inside, printed with vegetable-based inks on recycled paper, measure 5” x 7” and come with a 100% recycled envelope.
