Whiteshell Provincial Park is known for its rugged terrain, its multitude of lakes and rivers, diverse wildlife and vast expanses of white and black spruce, balsam fir, and tamarack. However, what is less well-known is the fact that commercial clear-cut logging is still allowed to proceed within the park boundaries.
