The great gray owl (Strix nebulosa) is a denizen of great boreal forests in the north and it's the provincial bird of Manitoba. These owls are active both day and night, and can be heard from a great distance giving off a series of deep "whoo" sounds. They do not build their own nests, but will make use of abandoned nests of other large birds or squirrels.
Greeting cards are blank inside, printed with vegetable-based inks on recycled paper, measure 5” x 7” and come with a 100% recycled envelope.
