Algonquin Provincial Park is home to the highest concentration of self-sustaining trout lakes in the world and mammals like moose, wolves, black bears and marten. Its world-renowned beauty forms the headwaters for four major rivers. However, almost two-thirds of the park is slated for industrial logging, making it one of the most at-risk parks in Canada. We pressure the province of Ontario for ecological protection while centring the Algonquin Nations as the original and ongoing stewards of this land.
